About the series

Meet the author
Suchitra Vijay Verma has spent more than twenty years in education — from teaching English in Dubai classrooms to leading curriculum and teacher development for the UAE Ministry of Education, where she has trained and supervised over 200 teachers.
She is a certified Cambridge International Examiner, teaches postgraduate educational leadership as Adjunct Faculty, and holds a Master's in Education in Educational Research and a Master's of Arts in English Language and Literature. She writes on teacher development and reviews articles for peer-reviewed journals, and speaks regularly on the subject, grounded in one conviction: real professional growth doesn't come from being watched — it comes from being trusted, and given the right resources to grow.
Sharing that knowledge is what drives her. Her 2024 Routledge chapter on what really works in teachers' professional development is one thread in an ongoing conversation with her community of educators — and every guide in this series continues it, turning the routines, templates, and hard-won lessons of real schools into something you can use the next morning.
